As a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization, your dedication to furthering your organization’s cause or mission does not come without cost. If you are looking for a no-risk, low-hassle way of earning funds, please consider Calendar That Cares for your next fundraising event! Calendar That Cares is a product of Fund Razors Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation dedicated to helping charities raise money with no risk and little cost.
What is Calendar That Cares? The calendar depicts twelve touching scenes that are near and dear to the hearts of many local charities, as well as to charitable individuals in general. But the best part is, the calendars also offer their purchasers a daily entry into a contest for cash prizes!
What is the risk to your organization? None! You can operate this fundraiser as a pre-sale or pay up front. At the end of your sale, Fund Razors, Inc. will reimburse your organization 100% of your unsold calendars.
What is the cost and how is money allocated? The recommended donation price for each calendar is $25.00. Your organization will keep 80% of the donation price ($20); and $5.00 will go to Fund Razors, Inc. The $5.00 pays 10% administrative fees, the cost of printing and advertising the calendar and the projected prize pool needed for the annual Calendar That Cares contest. Any remaining prize pool funds left over at the end of the contest at the end of the year will be donated to the 501(c)3 charity selling the most calendars.
How does the contest work? Individuals who purchase calendars will select a four digit number (for example: 1234, 0013, 0712, etc.) at the time of purchase. If the entrant’s four-digit number matches the four-digit number printed on the lottery page of a Florida newspaper, that entrant will receive a $25.00 check from Fund Razors, Inc., for that particular day. If the entrant’s four-digit number matches the four numbers drawn on the 15th of the month, that entrant will receive a $250.00 check from Fund Razors, Inc..The four digit number is drawn by the State of Florida, twice daily. That means that just by purchasing a Calendar the Cares from your organization, individuals are entered into a daily contest for cash prizes, with 730 chances to win annually. Fund Razors will track the numbers and pay off the winners. The participating charity is not responsible for monitoring of the numbers and/or winners.
Is lottery style fundraising legal in Florida? The Calendar That Cares contest has been reviewed by a legal representative of the Florida Lottery and a Florida law firm to ensure that all state regulations have been abided by. These rules are listed in detail inside each calendar and on our Calendar That Cares website. All Florida State Statutes pertaining to raffles apply.
